In the role of Senior Tender / Bid Manager Non-residential Construction, as a tender manager or bid manager, you will take on the challenge of realizing our growth ambitions and you will be responsible for making the construction team or the tender of large and complex structural projects within non-residential construction a success. You lead a multidisciplinary tender team from the moment of the construction team or tender until the award.

As a senior tender manager and experienced bid manager, you are the central link to the customer, (consortium) partners, and joint ventures on behalf of BESIX. You are responsible for the full tender management and the strategic direction of the bid management process within non-residential construction.

Specifically, you will be involved in:

• Being part of and assembling a motivated tender team and good team spirit, in collaboration with management, operational management, and project management;

• Constructive cooperation with customers, partners, suppliers, and external stakeholders, consultants, and architects, and where applicable: developers and maintenance managers;

• Following up on one or more tenders simultaneously, fitting your role as a tender manager or bid manager;

• Co-determining the winning tender strategy to arrive at a competitive offer within non-residential construction;

• Sharing your substantive expertise, co-developing and writing the dossiers, and making decisions appropriate to the project strategy;

• You lead the team, providing leadership in a natural way through both content and personality as a tender manager or bid manager, whereby you take the team along and give team members space and guidance in their personal development to grow, thanks to your relevant experience in realizing projects;

• Filling in and coordinating various disciplines and/or functional departments within BESIX and with joint ventures such as project development, design, planning & methods, installations, procurement, execution/construction methodology, legal & contractual, estimation, insurance, risk and project control, environmental management, and maintenance;

• Drafting and monitoring the tender budget;

• Setting a high standard for qualitative tenders within non-residential construction and being able to interpret and translate what the customer desires;

• Maintaining contact and/or leading a Joint Venture / joint ventures in tendering partners and subcontractors;

• A warm handover at the start of realization;

• The evaluation of the entire tender management process and the optimization of the bid management process;

• You are open to potentially also participating in the actual realization of the won project in a growth role
