Realizing challenging utility construction projects together with your team? That gives energy! As a construction site manager at Dura Vermeer Bouw en Vastgoed, you will work on large-scale and complex utility construction in the North, East, and Central Netherlands region. You ensure that these projects are delivered within schedule, budget, and at a high quality level. That is what you stand for.
You are the key link on the construction site: an inspiring leader for your team of site managers and skilled professionals. You maintain the overview, adjust where necessary, and create a safe and motivating working environment. Naturally, your extensive experience gives you a passion for construction, but above all, an eye for both technology and people.
As a construction site manager, you are responsible for the daily management and progress of large non-residential projects - think of a hospital, theater, courthouse, or a town hall. You work closely with the operations manager and are the point of contact on the construction site for all parties involved. Thanks to your clear communication and coordinating ability, the project runs smoothly.
You have a coaching leadership style and know how to motivate the execution team and take them to a higher level. You think ahead, monitor progress, quality, and safety, and also maintain a sharp eye on costs. You think proactively along with the project and are able to involve your colleagues in all developments. In addition, you provide input for the final settlement towards the client.
Dura Vermeer is an independent family business. And you can notice that. In how we work together, how we look out for one another, and how we build with an eye on future generations. Since 1855, we have been building the Netherlands, in residential construction, non-residential construction, infrastructure, and technology. Our independence and long-term vision form the foundation for this.
With a turnover of € 2.6 billion and over 3,700 colleagues, we belong to the top of the Dutch construction sector. But ultimately, for us, it is not about those figures. It is about people. About colleagues working together on projects you can be proud of - iconic and close to home - and contributing to solutions for societal issues.
Our ambitions are great. And we only achieve them with engaged people. That is why we invest in good employerhood and a working environment in which you feel at home. Where you can be yourself, feel safe, and speak up. So that you get the best out of yourself and, together with us, make more.
