In all our projects, knowledge of technical installations plays an increasingly important role in the successful completion of a project. Regularly, the contractor is not only responsible for the realization but also for the maintenance of the building. By taking an integral approach to the design, combined with the correct technical knowledge of the various disciplines, it is possible to control costs and risks during design, realization, and maintenance.

In the role of Project Manager Installations, you will provide guidance during both the tender phase, the design process, and the work preparation regarding installations.
The creation of the technical installations design takes place in close cooperation with the design leaders of the other disciplines and the client.

As Project Manager Installations you are responsible for the technical, administrative, and financial realization of installation projects within our unique utility projects. You monitor quality, safety, and budget and ensure that everything proceeds according to plan. You lead the installation team and you are the primary point of contact for installation partners, clients, and internal project teams. You also maintain contact with the head office in Brussels regarding installations.

• Drafting and monitoring project plans, work budgets, and schedules.
• Preparing the procurement of materials and subcontractors in collaboration with colleagues.

• The   point of contact on the construction site  for installation partners and project colleagues.
• Supervising installation partners and monitoring progress.
• Maintaining contact with clients and stakeholders.
• Attending construction and work meetings.
• Coordinating utilities and adjusting where necessary to meet deadlines.
• Switching between the shop floor and management level – a hands-on mentality is essential here.

• Maintaining project administration (hours, materials, quantities).
• Budget control and drafting progress claims.
• Following up on additional work, settlements, and claims.

• Complying with KVM care systems.
• Organizing toolbox meetings and safety walks.
• Providing handover and aftercare.

You have strong leadership and communication skills. You are analytical and have problem-solving insight. When choosing the solution, you are pragmatically minded. You find it a challenge to bear full responsibility for the design of technical installations (from Preliminary Design to Execution Design) and are creative in devising solutions and know how to find support for them. You have knowledge of BIM, contract forms, and relevant standards.
