During the Management Traineeship at Belsimpel, you will develop yourself over two years into an operational manager who leads teams, coaches colleagues, and drives results. You will first get to know our organization from the inside out, and will soon receive responsibility for your own team. With intensive guidance from experienced colleagues, training, and projects, you will build your management skills.

Responsibility from day one
With many traineeships, you first observe or support experienced colleagues. At Belsimpel, it is different. You do not learn leadership from a classroom, but in practice. During your first three months, you will get to know our operations from the inside and out. After that, you will receive responsibility for your own team. You will coach colleagues, drive results, and work on improvements that are immediately visible on the work floor. Naturally, you will not be alone: experienced managers will guide you throughout the entire process.

Develop yourself into a versatile operational manager
Leadership is more than managing a team. You will learn how to help colleagues grow, conduct difficult conversations, improve processes, and ensure daily operations run smoothly. Additionally, you will follow training, coaching, and peer reviews to further develop your leadership skills. In this way, you build a solid foundation for your future career.

And practically speaking:

• You are willing to work an evening or weekend shift once every two weeks. After all, our operations do not stop at 5:00 PM. Naturally, these hours fall within your contract and we will always coordinate this together.
