Senior PMO

• You have a completed HBO or WO degree;
• You possess 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience;
• You have experience with BPM, requirements analysis, Agile/Scrum, user stories, use cases, and drafting designs;
• You have good knowledge of business operations and management processes;
• You have an affinity with data, digitalization, and AI applications within project management;
• You have experience in facilitating workshops and/or providing training;
• You are familiar with IT development methods and frameworks and can substantively assess IT solutions.

Because our assignments are fully conducted in Dutch, fluent Dutch language skills are a mandatory requirement for this role.

• Salary up to € 6,100.00 based on experience and knowledge;

As a Senior PMO, you are responsible for setting up, designing, and optimizing the Project Management Office (PMO) within Regio Noordoost. You develop a clear and supported plan for the organization and processes that support project and program management, aligned with the culture and change capacity of the organization. In doing so, you play an important role in the development of a modern, data-driven PMO, in which AI and automation are increasingly deployed to make project results more predictable and effective. From our office in Groningen, you implement and manage PMO tools, standards, and methodologies to safeguard the quality and predictability of project results. You bring structure through harmonization and standardization and actively stimulate knowledge sharing. At the same time, you continuously look at how processes can become smarter and more efficient, for example by applying data analysis and AI support in planning, reporting, and governance.

As a Senior PMO, you help organizations to take their project organization to a higher level. You support the professionalization of project and program management and contribute to the transition from traditional PMO processes to a more data- and AI-driven way of working.
You work closely with Project Managers, Service Managers, and Delivery Managers and act as a connecting link between business, IT, and projects. You provide insight, structure, and direction, utilizing modern tools and techniques such as automated reporting, data analysis, and (where appropriate) AI applications for forecasting and risk management.
