Data Analyst

Translate data into real impact!

You will become part of a multidisciplinary team in which data is central. Our teams build products that are used in more than 30 European countries. To make good choices, we need insight, and that begins with you. As a Data Analyst, you provide direction: with analyses that are sharp, dashboards that are accurate, and conclusions that teams can build upon. You are the link that translates data into real impact. You work on both daily monitoring and larger projects.

Examples of what you will do:

• Translate data into clear analyses, dashboards, and reports

• You build dashboards and reports using SQL and Apache Superset

• Monitor the performance of products, processes, and business units

• Triage incoming data requests and sharpen the question behind the question

• Establish and monitor KPIs together with product and business stakeholders

• Define data requirements and measurement methods in documentation

• Set up, analyze, and convert A/B tests into concrete recommendations

• Collect input from product, engineering, and commerce and translate it into data initiatives

• Monitor data quality and continuously improve existing reports

Full-time | 32-40 h/week | WO-level | Head office Groningen

*You are able to work at the office in Groningen, we have a remote working policy of 2 days per week.

You are located at the intersection of data analysis and commerce. You are familiar with various analysis techniques and tools and, like no other, you can translate your findings into concrete ideas and actions in the field of commerce. You do not need to create mathematical models and algorithms, but you interpret and implement their outcomes in the right way within the business. Will you help us soon in breaking our sales records?

• SQL and modern data warehouses (such as BigQuery)

• Dashboarding tools such as Looker Studio, Metabase, or internal tooling

• Collaboration with data engineering (such as dbt and ETL processes)

• Knowledge of R is a plus

• GitLab for version control, reviews, and collaboration

• Agile workflow, short iterations, continuous feedback

• Strong focus on data definitions, documentation, and data quality

We work in small teams with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Data Analysts. We also work intensively with other Engineering teams.
