Construction Planner/Estimator Renovation

• An mbo or hbo diploma in Civil Engineering or a similar field. 

• At least 5  years of relevant experience within residential and/or non-residential projects. 

• You work in a structured, organized manner and have a professional, customer-oriented attitude. 

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Affinity with new techniques such as 3D, VR, and a clear vision of BIM as the future of construction. 

• The salary for this position is between € 4,291.63 and € 5,364.54 gross per month (based on 40 hours), excluding 8% holiday allowance. The exact salary depends on your knowledge, level, and work experience. 

• On top of salary comes a fixed amount for the Sustainable Employability Budget for things that contribute to staying healthy and motivated (2.3% according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement).

• 43 leave days according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement. Of these days, 13 are paid out in your individual budget; you can choose to buy these days back;

• A laptop and a smartphone.

As an Estimator/Construction Planner Renovation and Sustainability, you will be involved in our projects from the initiation and design phase. A varied role in which estimation, construction planning, procurement, scheduling, and (BIM) modeling come together. Within the project, you are the pivot between preparation and execution; from the initiation phase to the end of construction planning. You analyze project information, prepare budgets, assess technical solutions, and coordinate all disciplines with one another. You actively think along about alternative execution methods, material choices, and smart optimizations that create added value for the client and contribute to a more efficient construction process.

As soon as a project is awarded or reaches a decision-making stage, you handle the preparation and effortlessly transfer your knowledge to the execution.

You will join a close-knit team specializing in renovation, transformation, and sustainability projects. You will work intensively with project managers, project leaders, site managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients. Together, you determine the best approach for diverse tasks within existing construction. Always with a sharp eye for quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. The atmosphere is informal, professional, and result-oriented, with plenty of room for your own initiative and development.

Through the combination of estimation and construction planning, you see not only what a project costs, but also how the project can best be executed. Everything follows the motto: we preserve what has value and add what creates value.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Preparing estimates, budgets, and cost calculations.

• Assessing quotes and procuring materials and subcontractors.

• Identifying opportunities, risks, and optimizations during the planning phase.

• Developing work methods, schedules, and logistical preparations.

• Supporting tender and construction team processes.

• Preparing the execution, so that projects can start efficiently and without surprises.

• Continuously improving processes and applying digital tools and innovative techniques.
