At Bartiméus, you will work together with professionals on the treatment, development, and support of people who are blind or visually impaired. You will fully participate in a department that matches your education and interests.

Bartiméus is an SBB-recognized training company and offers internship positions for various fields of study at different locations. Whether it concerns HR, Facilities, Education, or Communication. During your internship, you will work within a department that matches your wishes and interests. Under the supervision of your internship supervisor, you will carry out all activities that belong to the position for which you are being trained.

Furthermore, you follow for example 1 of the following fields of study:

At MBO level. For example: Educational Assistant

At HBO level. For example: Neuropsychology, PABO, Pedagogy, Business Administration, Facilities Management, Communication, ALO, Occupational Therapy, ICT and more.

• A challenging internship where you truly make a difference for a special target group.

• Internship positions at various locations.

• Internship allowance as established in the CAO Gehandicaptenzorg, VVT or PO with a maximum of €500,- per month based on a 36-hour internship week. To be eligible for this, your internship duration must be at least 150 hours and longer than 1 month.

• Professional work supervision.

• The possibility to rent a room in the staff apartment building in Doorn during the duration of your internship period and based on availability.

• Great practical experience.

• Chance at a job after your internship.

• A fun introduction day together with the other interns within Bartiméus.

People with a visual impairment can come to us for daily support or treatment. But also for diagnostics and education.
