Senior Policy Expert Anti Financial Crime

• University (WO) working and thinking level
• More than 10 years of relevant work experience within a financial institution
• In-depth knowledge of the AFC domain, including Wwft (AMLR) and sanctions legislation
• In-depth compliance knowledge and experience, and you can clearly write the FEC policy
• Experience in drafting policy and translating risks into practically actionable solutions
• Please keep in mind that documentation is in both Dutch and English! This involves translating legal texts in both Dutch and English into clear and understandable policy

As Policy Expert Anti Financial Crime at ASN Bank in Utrecht, you protect both the bank and society against money laundering, fraud, and terrorism financing.

You work as a senior expert within the Policy & Expertise team: the knowledge center for all Anti Financial Crime (AFC) issues at ASN Bank. Using your in-depth knowledge, you translate complex laws and regulations into clear, actionable policy and serve as a trusted advisor for the entire organization.

• You develop and maintain first-line AFC policy and translate new laws and regulations into policy, expertise, and processes
• You advise the management and departments on AFC risks and represent ASN Bank with regulators and in interbank consultations
• You identify policy needs and communicate these clearly to internal and external stakeholders
• You contribute to risk awareness within the organization through advice, training, and presentations
• You coach and train colleagues and actively strengthen the knowledge and expertise of the team

You work in a close-knit team of 5 colleagues within Sira, Policy & Knowledge, part of Intelligence & Security. Collaboration, keeping each other sharp, and achieving results together are central.
