Are you a legal professional with a passion for technology and innovation? As IT Legal Counsel at Capgemini Netherlands, you will be involved in commercial processes and strategic decision-making from the very beginning. You will advise on complex legal issues within the IT and technology domain and work intensively with multidisciplinary teams to further strengthen the legal foundation of our services.

In this role, you will work on:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts, IT agreements, and licensing arrangements.
• Advising on tenders, compliance issues, and regulations within the IT and telecommunications domain.
• Translating legal risks into clear and practically applicable business advice for internal stakeholders.
• Supporting innovation initiatives, including issues surrounding AI and emerging technologies.
• Collaborating with colleagues from different disciplines to make commercial opportunities legally possible and keep risks manageable.

You have:

• At least 6 years of experience as a lawyer or in-house counsel, preferably within IT, technology, or commercial contracts.
• Demonstrable experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex IT contracts and service agreements.
• Strong knowledge of regulations and compliance within the IT and telecommunications sector.
• Excellent command of both the Dutch and English languages.
• Affinity with innovation and AI, and an understanding of the possibilities, limitations, and impact of new technologies within the legal profession.

• A one-year contract.
• A salary aligned with your knowledge and experience, including a mobility allowance & 8% holiday allowance (based on 40 hours).

You will be part of the Capgemini Netherlands legal team and report to the Deputy General Counsel. Within the team, you will work together with experienced legal professionals who contribute daily to complex commercial processes, innovation projects, and strategic decision-making. The working environment is characterized by a strong focus on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and technological innovation. You will be given plenty of room to take independent responsibility while simultaneously brainstorming with colleagues from various disciplines.
