The Netherlands faces major societal challenges. From housing construction and the energy transition to climate adaptation and the renovation of our infrastructure. Behind all these projects lies one important success factor: the necessary permits and procedures.
As a Mid-level Permits Advisor at Aveco de Bondt, you ensure that projects are well-prepared legally and procedurally. You map out which permits and authorizations are required, guide permit processes, and advise clients on the possibilities within the applicable laws and regulations. In this way, you make an important contribution to projects that make the Netherlands more sustainable, safer, and future-proof.
You work on diverse projects for, among others, Rijkswaterstaat, municipalities, water boards, provinces, contractors, and grid operators. Think of area developments, infrastructural projects, water safety challenges, or the expansion of the energy grid.
As a Mid-level Permits Advisor, you guide diverse permit processes from initiative to execution. You are an important link between clients, government authorities, and other involved parties, maintain an eye for each other's interests, and ensure that projects can be realized smoothly.
Your duties include:
Inventorying which permits, notifications, and other public law authorizations are required;
Drafting and guiding permit applications and associated procedures;
Advising on laws and regulations, including the Environment Act (Omgevingswet);
Identifying risks and monitoring conditions within projects;
Coordinating with clients, competent authorities, and other stakeholders;
Collaborating with colleagues from, among others, Environmental Management, Spatial Planning, Water, Ecology, and Engineering.
You are a curious and proactive professional who enjoys seeking the connection between technology, laws and regulations, and practice. You maintain an overview, think in solutions, and get energy from guiding diverse permit processes.
In addition, you bring:
Social: Together you achieve more. You are involved, know how to connect people, and are open to other perspectives. You find it important to work in an environment where collaboration, fun, and respect are central;
Pragmatic: You love to get stuck in and look for solutions that actually work. No endless theoretical stories, but concrete results that benefit the client and the environment;
Entrepreneurial: You have courage and see opportunities where others might see obstacles. You think ahead, dare to propose new ideas, and take initiative to shape the future.
