Lead Privacy

• At least 7 years of relevant work experience in the field of privacy, preferably within a financial institution or another complex regulated organization
• Demonstrable knowledge of relevant laws and regulations regarding privacy within the financial sector
• You know how to convey complex subject matter clearly and accessibly to various target groups, including the board and senior management
• IAPP certification (CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT) is a requirement; other comparable relevant certifications in the privacy field are a plus
• You are proactive, analytically strong, and know how to convince others. You have experience with stakeholder management with executives and/or regulators.

• University (WO) level of work and thinking with a relevant educational background.
• You speak the language of specialists
• You have extensive experience in leading an expertise team

This position falls in scale 12, with a gross monthly salary between €6827 and €9102 (based on 36 hours per week). And this is what you will also receive from us:

As Expertise Lead Privacy, in close cooperation with the 2nd line Privacy team, you are the primary point of contact for everything related to privacy issues within the first line of ASN Bank. You safeguard the balance between innovation and security and ensure that privacy is not experienced as a brake, but as a foundation of trust. Additionally, you lead the Privacy Office, a team of 5 professionals, where you stimulate their development and craftsmanship.

The Privacy Office translates policies and standards into practical guidelines and, together with the Data Protection Officer, ensures that privacy is structurally embedded in the organization. Together with relevant stakeholders, you determine the strategic course and are responsible for the further professionalization of the Privacy Office. Additionally, you identify risks and actively contribute to a privacy-conscious culture within the organization. • Advising teams and stakeholders in the field of privacy
• Translating policies and standards into practical work instructions
• Acting as an expert during audits, risk analyses, and incidents
• Contributing to the further development of the privacy framework
• Setting up and further professionalizing the privacy office, including drafting and executing the annual plan.
• monitoring the progress and quality of privacy (management) agreements, including the drafting of KPIs and dashboards
• managing and updating the privacy e-learning and developing training and education for specific target groups to promote privacy awareness within the organization.
• You are involved in keeping the privacy risk & control framework up to date and you direct or perform 1st line privacy control testing.
