• At least 8-10 years of relevant NFR work experience within a (retail) bank
• Expert-level knowledge of Issue, Incident, and Control Testing, Risk Assessments, and testing methodology
• Demonstrable experience with data-driven testing, dashboarding, and/or AI applications within risk
• Extensive experience in communicating with and reporting to senior management and regulators

As Senior Risk Specialist Non-Financial Risk at ASN Bank in Utrecht, you will take the Non-Financial Risk framework to a higher level. With your expertise in issue, incident, and quality management, you will play a crucial role in demonstrably being in control of our bank.

What are you going to do?
As Senior Risk Specialist NFR at ASN Bank, you will work within the Second Line NFR organization. You are the authority in the field of issue and incident management and control testing. With both an inside-out and outside-in perspective, you will translate external developments into internal policy and contribute to a strong risk and control awareness culture. You will work closely with management, risk managers, and stakeholders from the business.

• You define and monitor the testing methodology for the entire bank and review control test scripts and test results for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• You manage the end-to-end Incident & Issue process: correct registration, classification, and timely follow-up of measures in line with risk policy and laws and regulations.
• You determine the enterprise testing strategy, including a vision on continuous assurance and the active management of the full risk spectrum.
• You drive innovation and automation and are the owner of the strategy for risk testing, including data analysis and AI applications for continuous testing.
• You represent the testing function towards senior leadership and communicate test results internally and externally where necessary.

The NFR Issue, Incident and Quality Management Team is a relatively new team within the Second Line NFR organization, with a major mission: to take the NFR framework to a higher level.
