Do you want to advise national and international entrepreneurs, investors, and real estate parties on legal issues surrounding real estate? Do you have extensive experience in real estate practice, a strong network, and a proven ability to retain clients? Then the role of Director Legal Advisory - Real Estate at Baker Tilly is for you.
As Director Legal Advisory - Real Estate, you are the senior legal interlocutor for clients with real estate issues. You advise on real estate transactions, real estate financing, construction, project development, environmental law, and tenancy law. You outline the legal frameworks, guide clients and colleagues through transactions and projects, draft and review legal documentation, and manage legal due diligence processes.
This role explicitly calls for entrepreneurship. There is no existing real estate legal practice within Legal Advisory yet: you will get the opportunity to build and direct that practice. This means you will be visible in the market, further deepen existing relationships, generate new assignments, and position Baker Tilly as a serious player at the intersection of real estate, taxation, and legal advice.
You are a sparring partner for, among others, entrepreneurs, investors, funds, asset managers, financiers, construction companies, developers, and family businesses with real estate interests. In doing so, you work intensively with specialized real estate tax specialists and other advisors within Baker Tilly, so that clients can rely on integrated advice from a single team.
You combine substantive expertise with commercial insight and leadership. You will be given the space to build a team yourself, guide consultants in their development, and further shape the quality of our services. The role offers much autonomy, visibility, and responsibility, with a clear prospect of partnership. Your home base will be our office in Utrecht or Amsterdam; other locations are negotiable.
