Technical Manager Water Optimization

As a Technical Manager Water Optimization, you will work on innovative and sustainable solutions for drinking, industrial, and wastewater. You will play a key role in projects that contribute directly to the future of water management in the Netherlands.

You combine technical depth with strategic advice and lead multidisciplinary teams on complex issues, such as the renovation and new construction of water treatment plants and the development of new treatment concepts.

In this position, you are both a subject matter expert and a sparring partner for clients and colleagues. You:

• translate client requests into concrete and achievable solutions
• lead project teams and monitor technical quality and progress
• advise clients at a strategic level regarding water treatment and optimization
• actively contribute to innovation and collaboration within the water chain
• build and maintain relationships with clients and partners

In doing so, you play an important role in connecting technology, stakeholders, and commercial opportunities.

You are an experienced professional who combines technical knowledge with leadership and client orientation:

• a completed HBO or WO degree, for example in water technology, environmental technology, or process technology
• at least 5 years of relevant work experience in water treatment (e.g., consultancy, water board, drinking water company, or contracting)
• experience with projects involving wastewater, drinking water, and/or process water
• strong communication skills in Dutch and the ability to engage stakeholders
• a proactive and entrepreneurial attitude

You feel comfortable in a role where you switch between technology, project management, and client contact.
