What we're looking for

  • A completed HBO (higher professional education) or WO (university) degree in civil engineering, hydrology, water management, or another relevant field;

  • at least 3-5 years of work experience as an advisor or consultant within the water management sector;

  • experience with both data analyses and hydrodynamic models (such as 3Di, InfoWorks ICM, and Sobek/D Hydro).

With your expertise, we develop future-proof solutions for a robust water environment.

What you'll do

  • You advise governments and companies on water management using your knowledge of water quantity and/or water safety, in both urban and rural areas.

  • Working on behalf of various clients, both independently and in a team, you work on current water issues within the Dutch water management system.

  • You work within a motivated and entrepreneurial team of close-knit colleagues. You actively contribute to their knowledge development and inspire them to further develop their talents.

As a (Senior) Water Quantity Advisor, you are the leader in solving complex water management problems relevant to the present day. You advise municipalities, provinces, Rijkswaterstaat, and water boards on water quantity and urban water management from the early planning phase to the end of service life. In doing so, you deal with issues surrounding water management, focusing on stress tests, water management plans, and climate adaptation plans. To achieve this, you translate complex technical data and water management information into concrete, applicable advice and clear maps, which you can substantiate with data analyses and your experience with hydrodynamic models. You are thus the expert who helps the client move from a complex problem to practical solutions, supported by the knowledge and expertise of a multidisciplinary engineering firm.
