As an Urban Nature Ecologist, you will work on diverse ecological issues within the urban environment. You combine your ecological knowledge with a good understanding of laws and regulations and translate complex issues into practical advice for our clients. You contribute to projects in the fields of species protection, nature-inclusive construction, and biodiversity enhancement, and help to bring nature and urban development into balance.

You will work together with an enthusiastic team of ecologists on projects that contribute to a resilient and biodiverse living environment. In doing so, you advise clients such as municipalities, provinces, environmental services, and housing corporations on species protection, nature development, and nature-inclusive measures.

• Advising on species protection, biodiversity, and nature-inclusive development;
• Carrying out and supervising ecological research and inventories;
• Drafting ecological reports, advice, and plans;
• Contributing to Species Management Plans (SMPs) and nature-inclusive projects;
• Collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary project teams;
• Sharing knowledge and contributing to the development of the field.
