Do you want to use your knowledge of spatial planning to make a real impact on the living environment in the Netherlands? The pressure on space is increasing: housing construction, energy transition, mobility, and nature require smart choices. As a Mid-level Spatial Planning Advisor at Aveco de Bondt, you will work on projects that visibly contribute to a sustainable and future-proof living environment.
As a mid-level advisor, you work at the intersection of spatial planning, urban planning, and the Environment Act. You are involved in planning procedures and area developments and advise both public and private clients.
Your duties include:
Advising municipalities on spatial plans and the application of the Environment Act
Guiding developers in plan formation for housing and area developments
Carrying out and coordinating environmental-planning studies (soil, noise, water, ecology, external safety)
Translating laws and regulations into practical, feasible plans
Coordinating with various stakeholders and colleagues from other disciplines
You will be given the space to work independently on diverse projects, while always being able to rely on a strong team of colleagues with various expertise.
Social: Together you achieve more. You are involved, know how to connect people, and are open to other perspectives. You find it important to work in an environment where collaboration, fun, and respect are central;
Pragmatic: You love to get stuck in and look for solutions that actually work. No endless theoretical stories, but concrete results that benefit the client and the environment;
Entrepreneurial: You have courage and see opportunities where others might see obstacles. You think ahead, dare to propose new ideas, and take the initiative to shape the future.
You are part of the entrepreneurial Spatial Planning team. You work independently, but never alone. Together with colleagues from fields such as urban design, environment, and project development, you work on projects throughout the Netherlands.
