As a Senior Recruitment Advisor, you are the driving force behind the attracting of talent for our practice groups and staff departments. You work closely with partners and hiring managers, advise them on recruitment issues and ensure that the best professionals choose A&O Shearman.

As a Senior Recruitment Advisor, you are responsible for the entire recruitment process of various practice groups and business services departments. 

You are not just a recruiter, but primarily an advisor. You understand the need behind the vacancy, think along about the best recruitment strategy and are a full partner in conversation for stakeholders at various levels. 

• you manage recruitment processes from intake to onboarding;

• you conduct selection interviews and manage assessments;

• you actively build talent pools and maintain relationships with candidates;

• you monitor developments in the labor market and translate these into concrete advice;

• you analyze recruitment data and drive continuous improvement;

• you contribute to projects in the fields of employer branding, candidate experience and process optimization.

In this role, you will receive plenty of room to take initiative and truly make an impact on the further growth of the firm. 

You combine recruitment expertise with persuasion and stakeholder management. You are curious about people, understand what a business needs and know how to inspire talent. 

• at least 4 years of experience within recruitment, for example in a corporate, professional services or executive search/recruitment environment;

• experience in advising stakeholders at various levels;

• a proactive and entrepreneurial attitude;

• excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously;

• an affinity for data and translating insights into actions;

• strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
