What we're looking for

A completed degree from a TU (Technical University) or Academy of Architecture in urban planning or a comparable field;
At least 5 years of relevant work experience: your knowledge and experience make the difference;
Affinity with architecture: you understand the organization and structure of buildings and can contribute ideas at an architectural level;
Innovative and graphically strong, with good spatial insight at various scale levels;
Strong analytical and research skills;
Excellent communication skills in Dutch;

Nice to have

Experience with Vectorworks, SketchUp, and Adobe is a plus.

What you'll get

A salary between €5,000 and €6,500 gross per month (based on a 40-hour work week and depending on experience);
A 13th month;
A profit sharing of up to 2% of the paid gross monthly salaries, depending on the company's results;

The role

At CB5, you will work on leading projects, receive significant design responsibility, and have the space to leave your mark on urban planning in Limburg and Brabant.

What you'll do

As a senior urban planner, you will work on diverse projects in the fields of housing, center development, healthcare, and public space. Think of the expansion of the High Tech Campus Eindhoven, the center plan in Weert, or master plans for large-scale housing challenges. Issues that go beyond a standard design brief. With your conceptual thinking power and imagination, you will develop distinctive visions and designs. You will drive projects independently, act as the primary point of contact for clients such as municipalities and developers, and translate their wishes to the design team. In doing so, you combine your vision with the wishes of clients, users, and the environment into a strong and sustainable result. Your affinity with architecture makes you extra valuable: you can contribute ideas regarding the organization and structure of buildings and co-develop outdoor space layouts within complex urban plans. From this role, growth towards commercial, strategic, or leadership responsibilities is possible.
