What we're looking for

A completed HBO or WO degree in civil engineering;
At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a project leader;
The ability to empathize with the wishes and requirements of clients;
The knack for dealing with time pressure and hour budgets;
You are entrepreneurial and stand firmly in your shoes;
Organizational talent: you like to get things done, work orderly, and do not like half-finished work;
A coaching style of leadership and excellent communication skills;
Available for 32 to 40 hours per week.

What do you do as a project leader for roads and urban infrastructure at Antea Group?

What you'll do

With us, you are at the helm of infrastructure projects that matter. Think of the realization or reconstruction of national and provincial roads, urban infrastructure, or area development. For every question you receive, which can occur within various project phases, you create a plan of approach. You work out these steps and then set up a strong multidisciplinary team.

Subsequently, with this team, you ensure that a project is executed within planning, budget, and quality requirements. With your motivating input, you build a strong team in which project members grow in their roles. And with your talent for mastering processes and organizing quality assurance, you deliver the quality your client demands. Does a project run slightly differently than planned? Then you are the one who keeps a cool head and comes up with a solution. You are also the first point of contact for clients: contractors, governments, project developers, or industrial partners. From tender to project release: you know how to provide them with maximum peace of mind. With this, you lay the foundation for long-term client relationships.

What you enjoy doing:

Leading challenging infrastructural projects;
Getting the freedom to give your own interpretation to project leadership, both in terms of content and process;
Successfully completing projects within tight deadlines and budgets;
Motivating and guiding a team and ensuring that each team member grows in his or her role;
Preparing tenders, plans of approach, risk analyses, and financial reports;
Diving into the technical content while simultaneously maintaining tight control over the project organization;
Regularly collaborating with and visiting various clients and stakeholders.
