To turn this green potential into real-world applications, we need your analytical and engineering expertise to acquire practical knowledge and establish design standards.

In this hands-on engineering internship, you will investigate the feasibility of timber structures for industrial platforms. You will create innovative 3D designs, establish clear structural principles, and evaluate the full operational impact on engineering, costs, and lead times. Your research and practical insights will directly shape Vanderlande's next steps toward sustainable platform design.

You will join the Steel Competence Team within the Engineering Department of Domain Distribution. Our specialized team plays a pivotal role in delivering key projects for global market leaders such as Amazon, DHL, and UPS during both sales and execution phases.

We design complex platforms, coordinate with international suppliers, provide expert structural advice, and partner with cost engineers to budget major steelwork projects. Working alongside multidisciplinary project teams and sales experts, you will gain firsthand experience in high-impact industrial engineering within a dynamic global environment.

• Solid knowledge of structural engineering principles in steel and timber.
• Proficient with structural analysis software (preferably Scia Engineer) and AutoCAD.
• Creative, solution-oriented mindset with an enterprising and curious attitude.
• Strong technical background in Built Environment, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• *Mandatory enrolment to a Dutch Education System & resident of The Netherlands
