Devise feasible solutions for complex civil structures that keep the Netherlands accessible. Go for it!
You can certainly count on contributing to the accessibility of the Netherlands as a modeler/designer at Boskalis Netherlands! You create 3D models and 2D views for the construction of complex civil structures. In our close-knit team, your vision is valued and you get the space every week to work on your own development.
Go for it!
In close collaboration with the structural engineer and the realization team, you design works of art for often long-term projects. Think of the reconstruction of the Amstel junction or the deepening of the railway in Vught. You are involved in both the preparation, design, and realization phases. Together with your team, you devise feasible and structurally safe solutions for, for example, situations where space is limited.
With modelers from other disciplines and colleagues from, for example, realization, planning, and sustainability, you constantly look at how to respond to the wishes of our clients. Together, you arrive at solutions that Boskalis Netherlands also builds itself. Because you also work on location, you see the construction happening up close. Extra wonderful: we love to motivate you to think along about how we, as a team and an organization, reach an ever-higher level.
With input from the structural engineer, realization, and various advisors, you create 3D models that you develop to the desired level of detail. In doing so, you coordinate with modelers from other disciplines. You also discuss your solutions and the opportunities for optimization with the design and execution team.
In your models, you link data regarding, among other things, phasing and volumes.
From the 3D model, you create drawings with the dimensions for execution. You regularly review whether the execution matches the designs.
During execution, you make interim adjustments to the design, for example if a product is unavailable or if there is an unforeseen situation that was not taken into account in the design.
Together with your colleagues, you follow market developments in the field of modeling and contribute to knowledge sharing within your team.
This makes your future colleague proud
"Working in the design team of Boskalis Netherlands, one of the largest contractors for infra projects in the Netherlands, means that I am close to the realization. The optimal solutions that I devise together with the project team are built almost right in front of my eyes. Additionally, I can deliberately plan time here to further develop my soft skills or expertise through courses or workshops."
