The role

Leviat is a growing organization due to the increasing need for structural solutions. We are looking for a structural designer who ensures accurate designs and calculations, essential for realizing our technical solutions. This role is of great importance for streamlining various processes including drawings, calculations, planning, procurement, delivery, and administration. Are you a structured thinker who applies logic to the work process?

What will you do?

With guidance from an experienced buddy, you will learn the products, processes, and programs for project completion and customer delivery. Your tasks are:

  • Calculating technical solutions (lifting equipment, connection elements for prefab elements, thermal bridge breaks, etc.);
  • Monitoring and keeping up-to-date certificates, internal software (calculation tools), technical information, analyses, etc.;

You work closely with your colleagues (both nationally and internationally), prefab suppliers, engineering firms, contractor planners, and sometimes architects to solve issues. Accuracy and a systematic approach are essential. Do you want to know more about the onboarding process? Feel free to ask your questions.

What makes the position unique

As a Concrete Structural Designer at Leviat, you will work in a specialized niche within the construction and concrete sector. You possess in-depth knowledge of concrete structures, reinforcement techniques, and anchoring details. Each project presents unique requirements for load-bearing capacity, detailing, and connection to other building parts, which demands technical creativity and solution-oriented thinking.

In this role, you will work closely with production planners, project leaders, and internal/external partners. Your communication skills and customer-oriented attitude are essential to clearly convey and coordinate technical solutions. You combine creating structural solutions with monitoring the progress and quality of projects. There are also opportunities to design new products for technical issues (e.g., modular construction, etc.) or to further develop existing products.

You work with various software packages such as AxisVM, Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam, where both 2D and 3D insight is crucial. You are able to see through complex structural changes and translate them into safe and efficient solutions.

What does Leviat truly offer?

With us, you don't just get a job, but an opportunity to take your career to a higher level.

  1. Market leader in innovative construction technology

Leviat is not just any player in the construction sector; we are a global market leader in the field of lifting, connection, and anchoring systems. Our solutions make construction not only safer, but also more efficient, stronger, and more sustainable. This means that as a Structural Designer, you work at the forefront of construction innovation, which is both challenging and inspiring.

  1. Part of a global group

As part of CRH, the largest building materials company in the world, Leviat offers you a stable and powerful foundation. You benefit from the advantages of an international organization with a global vision, while being able to contribute locally to projects with direct impact.

  1. Innovation and sustainability at the center

You will work for a company that continuously invests in innovation and the development of sustainable construction solutions. This means that you not only tackle technical challenges but also contribute to a future-proof construction sector.

Leviat believes in sincere collaboration with customers. As a Structural Designer, you are not just busy with designing and calculating; you work together with design and construction teams to find the best solution. This makes your role versatile and ensures that you have a direct impact on the success of construction projects.

  1. Buddy system: onboarding through an experienced colleague

Every new employee is assigned a personal buddy. This is an experienced colleague who helps you with:

  • Practical matters: such as getting acquainted with our products, systems, and processes.
  • Technical issues: your buddy is your first point of contact for substantive questions and shares valuable practical experiences.

At Leviat, we strive to be the best in what we do, but we also understand that no company is perfect. We learn and grow together, remaining open to feedback and continuously striving for improvement. We believe this: it is the people who make the difference. At Leviat, you are not only helping build innovative solutions, but also an organization that constantly wants to improve itself.

Your work environment

At Leviat, you work in an environment focused on collaboration, innovation, and accuracy. The team consists of experienced professionals and colleagues who want to further deepen their expertise, creating a dynamic balance between knowledge transfer and fresh insights. You will be given the space to make decisions independently and contribute to the successful outcome of projects. This year, Leviat is moving to an office designed for more efficient collaboration, with quiet workspaces and modern facilities. Here, you can isolate yourself or easily make contact with colleagues. Colleagues are calm and patient, and take the time to coordinate if you have questions. Their structured approach ensures reliable collaboration.
