Bring geo-data to life and help build solutions that make the Netherlands smarter and more sustainable.
As a GIS Advisor, you transform geo-data into insights that matter. With us, you will work on projects that make an impact: from the catch registration tool for the Waterschapshuis to complex GIS analyses for Rijkswaterstaat. Using ArcGIS, FME, and SQL, you make data visible and usable through analyses, maps, and interactive visualizations. Additionally, you advise clients on the application of geo-information and guide projects from A to Z. Alongside technical execution, you take on project management tasks and coach colleagues in the use of GIS tools and methodologies. You communicate directly with clients and translate their questions into practical and innovative solutions. With your combination of technical expertise and advisory skills, you ensure that geo-data is not only processed correctly but also adds real value to policy, management, and decision-making.
Working with the latest GIS techniques and translating data into usable insights;
Analyzing complex spatial issues and devising smart solutions for them;
Advising clients and building long-term relationships;
Coaching and guiding colleagues in their professional growth;
Leading projects where innovation, data, and social impact converge.
You will join a team of approximately 50 colleagues covering the entire geo-data process: from collection to analytics and visualization. Together, you will work within an organization of 1,800 professionals, with knowledge ranging from ecology to asset management. You will interface with experts from the Digital Space advisory group and work closely with clients throughout the Netherlands. The team has a strong innovative drive: you use proven software and develop your own solutions for specific issues. Based in Almere (or Oosterhout), you will work (hybrid and flexibly) on projects with national impact.
