As a Site Surveyor, you are able to make a substantively essential contribution to ongoing fiber optic installation projects for KPN's large corporate market. You have knowledge of how and where telecom cables can best be laid in the ground. Based on this, you prepare a survey report, which serves as the basis for the rollout of a project. You will work with a team of specialists and consult with government authorities, and together you will arrive at a plan that is technically and financially feasible.
You determine the necessary resources on location (trench, pipe, and cable lengths, types of trench covers). You establish which activities must be carried out, record this data, and elaborate on them in reports. Accurate administration is, of course, very important; you spend approximately 25% of your time on this and the remaining 75% working outdoors. Because the work is carried out by the civil engineering crew, knowledge of civil engineering techniques (boring, directional drilling, and pressing) is a requirement. The inclusion of these techniques in the route has a 100% influence on the quote, the lead time, and the overall delivery reliability.
At Allinq, we are continuously working on developments regarding how work can be done better and more efficiently; we are therefore looking for someone who quickly masters new technologies (for example, the digital measurement of a route).
You have an MBO level of work and thinking.
You have experience in telecom and preferably with the installation and mutation of underground networks.
You have experience reading drawings and KLIC cadastre for the purpose of ground disturbance.
You have VCA and possess a Category B driver's license.
You are communicatively skilled, good at conveying information.
An employer you can build on! Our employees determine the success of Allinq. Together we have to get the job done, and our way of working is therefore decisive. We have a special culture in which we offer you opportunities to keep growing. The challenge of staying in motion continuously. Great colleagues who are happy to help you along. And a working environment in which we encourage you to come forward with ideas for improvement!
