The role

As a Senior QHSSE Coordinator, you are an experienced advisor and the central point of contact for quality, health, safety, and environment within the operation. You combine strategic insight with a practical approach and translate complex issues into solutions that truly work. With your analyses and improvement proposals, you help Allinq to manage risks and continuously improve.

What you'll do

As a Senior QHSSE Coordinator, you advise managers, teams, and other stakeholders on complex safety, quality, and environmental issues. You are visible within the operation, know what is happening, and provide both requested and unsolicited advice. In doing so, you look beyond existing frameworks and come up with solutions that are practically feasible.

You analyze processes, map risks, and advise on appropriate control measures. You also investigate safety incidents and use trends and data to develop targeted improvement proposals. In this way, you ensure that improvements are not only conceived, but actually implemented and embedded.

In addition, you manage relevant management systems and certifications. You conduct internal audits, guide external audits, and translate findings into concrete actions. Through your experience and persuasiveness, you know how to bring different interests together and take stakeholders along in necessary changes.

What will you do?

The main tasks of a Senior QHSSE Coordinator are:

  • Advising the operation on complex safety, quality, and environmental issues.

  • Defining process risks and proposing appropriate solutions and control measures.

  • Analyzing safety incidents and translating trends into improvement proposals.

  • Conducting internal audits and guiding external audits and certification processes.

  • Monitoring and improving management systems, processes, and QHSSE performance.

Department

You work within the QHSSE department and collaborate closely with other QHSSE coordinators, managers, and colleagues from operations. Within the team, projects and areas of focus are divided based on knowledge and expertise. In your senior role, you serve as a substantive point of contact, bring stakeholders together, and help colleagues and operations to continuously improve.

What do you bring?

You are an experienced QHSSE professional who is analytically strong, works meticulously, and switches easily between strategy and practice. You take initiative, think outside the box, and know how to take others along with clear advice.

  • HBO (Higher Professional Education) working and thinking level, preferably with a degree in safety science, technical business administration, or process improvement.

  • At least five years of experience in a similar role and environment, where you have worked on complex issues regarding safety, quality, and environment.

  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and certifications, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SCL, CKB, and VCA.

  • Experience with internal audits, external audits, incident analyses, and risk management; auditor or lead auditor training is a plus.

  • Strong skills in stakeholder management, strategic advising, and realizing continuous improvement; experience within the energy sector is a plus.

Thoroughness is important to us. A (limited) screening will therefore be part of the selection procedure. Should you want to know more about this, please contact the recruiter managing this vacancy.
