What we're looking for

  • HBO education level or HBO working and thinking level, preferably in logistics, supply chain, planning, or a similar field
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience within planning, supply chain, or a production environment
  • Experience with SAP and good knowledge of Excel; knowledge of Power BI is a plus
  • You have a good understanding of production and supply chain processes
  • You are analytically strong and know how to translate complex issues into practical solutions
  • Technical knowledge of a production environment is a plus
  • You are proactive, solution-oriented, and know how to collaborate well with different departments
  • You enjoy continuous improvement and are not afraid to question existing ways of working
  • You maintain an overview when the planning changes and know how to set priorities

What you'll do

As Site Scheduler, you play an important role within the Supply Chain Planning team. You are responsible for planning the production at our site in Nijkerk as optimally as possible. In doing so, you take into account the available capacity, the current demand, and the overarching production plan.

You are the connecting link between Supply Chain Planning and Operations and work daily with various colleagues at the site and within the broader organization. No two days are the same; you switch between daily planning, ad-hoc challenges, and the continuous improvement of our way of working.

What does the role entail?

In this position, you will get plenty of room to make a difference. You ensure that the production planning aligns as well as possible with the available capacity and the current demand. You maintain an overview, signal bottlenecks, and actively seek solutions.

In addition, you are continuously looking for opportunities to further improve our planning and processes. We are therefore looking for someone with a continuous improvement mindset, who enjoys analyzing complex planning issues and coming up with smart solutions together with colleagues.

  • Responsible for preparing and managing the production planning for the site
  • Aligning the production planning with the overarching production plan and the available capacity
  • Collaborating daily with Operations and colleagues within Supply Chain Planning to execute the planning as optimally as possible
  • Signaling bottlenecks and risks in the production planning and adjusting in a timely manner where necessary
  • Identifying optimization opportunities within planning and production
  • Monitoring and following up on relevant site KPIs
  • Managing and maintaining master data required for reliable planning
  • Thinking along with and contributing to the improvement of planning processes, systems, and working methods

The Site Scheduler works in an employment of 38 hours per week.
