What we're looking for

· HBO or WO education, preferably in a technical field.

· At least 8 years of relevant experience within energy, cable, or infrastructure projects.

· Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager within multidisciplinary projects.

· Experience with project control, risk management, and stakeholder management.

· Experience with clients such as TenneT, grid operators, or public organizations.

· Good command of the Dutch language.

Nice to have

· Experience with TenneT projects.

· Knowledge of Systems Engineering and Relatics.

· Project management certification such as IPMA, Prince2, or similar.

· Experience with high-voltage connections or underground infrastructure.

The role

Lead projects that make the energy supply of the Netherlands possible

The energy transition requires a major expansion of the Dutch high-voltage grid. Together with clients such as TenneT, WSP works on complex projects for new high-voltage connections that are essential for a reliable and future-proof energy supply.

As High Voltage Cable Project Manager, you are integrally responsible for feasibility studies and Basic Designs of underground high-voltage connections. You lead multidisciplinary project teams and ensure that engineering, planning, budget, quality, and stakeholder interests converge in a successful project result.

You work closely with Lead Engineers, Environmental Managers, and clients, and create the conditions within which the project team can perform optimally.

What you'll do

Leading feasibility studies and Basic Designs for high-voltage connections.
Being responsible for planning, budget, scope, quality, and risks.
Directing multidisciplinary project teams.
Maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project partners.
Monitoring progress, finances, and project objectives.
Facilitating decision-making and controlling project risks.
Coordinating the collaboration between engineering, environment, and project control.
Reporting on progress and project results to clients and management.
Identifying opportunities for project optimization and business development.
Able to travel to our offices in both Arnhem and Breda
