Team Leader Structural Engineers

You divide your time between projects and the team.

In practice, this means:

• You participate in the design and calculation of structures within ongoing projects

• You supervise and coach structural engineers and modelers

• You monitor the quality of the work and help colleagues further

• You are the point of contact for clients and other disciplines

• You maintain an overview of planning, staffing, and progress

So you are not standing on the sidelines, but are right in the middle of the work.

You lead a team of approximately 6-10 structural engineers and modelers.
Together, you work on projects in residential and commercial construction.

The lines are short. You interact frequently with fellow team leaders and other disciplines.

You work on various types of projects, such as:

• Residential construction projects (new builds and transformations)

• Commercial construction (offices, education, healthcare)

• More complex projects where collaboration with other disciplines is important

You don't have to be a "perfect match," but this helps:

• You have experience as a structural engineer or structural project leader

• You have an overview and can make decisions in projects

• You enjoy guiding and helping people progress

• You can switch between technical content and management

• You communicate easily with colleagues and clients
