Supervisor Service & Maintenance Walibi Village

As Supervisor Service & Maintenance, you ensure that Walibi Village remains in top technical and practical condition. From our 140 accommodations and the swimming pool to the general facilities and the grounds: together with your team, you ensure that everything functions safely, well-maintained, and optimally.

You enjoy solving malfunctions, but you prefer to prevent problems before they arise. Therefore, you deal with both daily technical maintenance as well as preventive maintenance and actively contribute ideas for structural improvements.

Our Technical Service has a broad responsibility. In addition to technical activities, you ensure that the grounds look well-maintained, perform minor landscaping maintenance, and step in where needed. Whether you are supporting a colleague, helping a guest, or rolling up your own sleeves: you are visibly present and know how to get things done.

As Supervisor, you are the connecting factor within the team. You monitor the progress of work, set priorities, and ensure that nothing is left undone. In doing so, you work closely with the Front Office, Housekeeping, and the management of Walibi Village.

• You provide daily leadership to the employees of the Technical Service.

• You distribute tasks and set priorities based on urgency, guest impact, and planning.

• You monitor the progress of malfunctions, maintenance work, and technical projects.

• You ensure preventive maintenance for accommodations, the swimming pool, other buildings, and the grounds.

• You identify recurring problems and look for structural solutions.

• You work together with external suppliers and maintenance parties and monitor agreements made.

• You ensure that work is carried out safely and according to the applicable guidelines.

• You maintain an overview of materials, tools, and technical supplies.

• You contribute ideas for improvements to our accommodations and facilities.

• Together with the Supervisor Front Office, you work duty shifts for Walibi Village. During your duty shift, you are the central point of contact for daily affairs and are responsible for handling questions, special circumstances, and any emergencies.

• You work closely with the other supervisors and the management of Walibi Village. Additionally, you have regular contact with other departments within Walibi, such as R&M, Security, and the Landscaping Service.

You are a practical and involved leader who enjoys rolling up your sleeves, but at the same time knows how to maintain an overview. You think ahead, solve problems purposefully, and take responsibility.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has technical knowledge and experience, preferably within a similar environment.

• Is flexible in both roster times and activities. You also work evening and/or weekend shifts.

• Has experience in managing and coaching employees.

• Can plan well and set priorities.

• Dares to take decisions independently.

• Communicates clearly and pleasantly.

• Takes responsibility and involves colleagues in this.

• Can work with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and other digital systems.

• Has a good command of the Dutch and English languages. German is a plus.

Experience within the recreation industry is a nice addition, but certainly not a requirement. More important to us is that you are technically minded, can provide leadership, and get enthusiastic about a versatile working environment where no day is the same.
