Service & Maintenance Manager in the Netherlands

Do you want to take responsibility for a service department where every day is different? As Service & Maintenance Manager at ETB de Noord, you will manage the daily operations, ensure customers are well assisted, and maintain oversight of technicians, breakdowns, and maintenance.

You will be given a lot of freedom to further organize and improve Service & Maintenance. As Service & Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for the daily management and organization of the department. From an urgent breakdown to planned maintenance, and from the deployment of service technicians to maintenance contracts: you ensure that everything aligns perfectly.

You determine priorities, distribute the work, and ensure that technicians can head out with the correct information and materials. At the same time, you maintain contact with customers and monitor the progress, quality, and proper handling of activities.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Managing and organizing the Service & Maintenance department;

• Planning and optimally deploying service technicians;

• Coordinating and assessing breakdowns, service requests, and maintenance;

• Setting priorities based on urgency, customer appointments, and available capacity;

• Maintaining contact with customers regarding planning, progress, and completion;

• Drafting and managing maintenance contracts;

• Monitoring periodic maintenance and made agreements;

• Identifying additional work, bottlenecks, and recurring breakdowns;

• Coordinating with project leaders, work preparers, warehouse, and suppliers;

• Monitoring correct administrative and financial handling;

• Improving planning, customer communication, and internal work processes.

Within this position, you will receive a great deal of autonomy and will report directly to the director of ETB de Noord.

We are looking for someone who combines technical knowledge with oversight and leadership. You understand electrotechnical installations, can switch gears quickly, and remain calm when multiple breakdowns or customer inquiries require attention simultaneously.
