Webshop, customer service, workshop, and store: for the customer, it is one HBM. You direct the systems and processes behind them and prepare our service for further growth throughout Europe.
More than a million visitors per month in seven countries, a customer service department, a workshop, and a store in Moordrecht. A customer with a question, return, repair, or warranty claim expects the same fast and expert assistance everywhere. You ensure that the underlying systems and processes connect seamlessly: from the initial customer contact and self-service on the website to the handling in the workshop and the checkout and inventory in the store.
You look at the entire chain. You see where data gets stuck between the POS, ERP, and webshop, where self-service and AI prevent unnecessary contact, and how individual improvements together form one strong chain. You develop a vision for the domain and, together with the store, workshop, store logistics, customer service, and Digital, translate this into a roadmap and projects that you lead yourself.
As the link between business and IT, you turn practical questions into clear choices and concrete requirements. You work closely with application specialists for, among others, Aspos, NetSuite, Freshdesk, Neople, and commercetools, and ensure that their work contributes to one domain strategy.
Directing systems and processes within Service & Store, so that the customer receives the same service via every channel.
Improving the repair and warranty process, from registration to completion.
Reducing unnecessary contact moments through self-service and AI.
Establishing a roadmap and leading improvement projects yourself.
Monitoring data quality and connections between POS, ERP, and webshop.
You will be given the freedom to shape the domain according to your own insight and prepare it for the next growth phase. Additionally:
A one-year contract with a view to permanent employment.
What started as a tool shop in Gouda has grown into an international e-commerce organization for machines and tools, with customers throughout Europe. And we continue to grow. Behind the scenes, colleagues work every day on further developing HBM. From marketing and e-commerce to finance, HR, IT, and customer service: together we ensure that the organization keeps moving, improving, and growing.
Behind our world of machines and tools stands a modern organization in which technology and innovation play a major role. We work with smart software, data, automation, and AI to make our work better and more efficient. We test new possibilities and continuously look at how technology can further help us and our customers.
That mentality is also reflected in how we work together. At HBM, it is about taking initiative, collaborating, and continuous improvement. We combine the ambition and speed of a growing e-commerce organization with a down-to-earth approach. You are given the space to take ownership, contribute ideas, try new things, and further develop yourself.
