Greenery Services Worker

• A full-time contract (38 hours per week);

• A salary based on function group 3 of the Horeca CAO (€ 2,455.64 - € 2,582.71);

• Travel allowance of € 0.19 per kilometer driven with a maximum of 75 km one way;

• 25 vacation days based on a full-time contract (38 hours per week) and the possibility to purchase 5 extra vacation days per year;

• A performance bonus of a maximum of 3% of your gross annual salary;

As a greenery services worker, you play an important role in the maintenance of the 80 hectares of land in Walibi. Together with your team, you ensure that the park looks radiant every day, from blooming flowerbeds to neat lawns and healthy trees. Your work truly makes a difference!

What are you going to do?

• You perform maintenance work on the greenery; including weed control by means of brush cutting, pruning hedges/trees, collecting trash, and various cleaning tasks;

• You work extensively with machines such as the tractor, sweeper, brush cutter, and chainsaw;

• Raking and the disposal of green waste;

• Together with your colleagues, you maintain the department's machines;

• Providing water to the plantings;

• Cleaning fountains and ponds;

• And last but not least, the branch test. The what? Then you get to take a ride on the attraction to see if the track is free of branches.

During the opening season (from April to October) you work in a small shift rotation, which means you will also be deployed on weekends once every few weeks. Outside the opening season (from November to March) you work from Monday to Friday.
