Civil Rail Infra Work Preparer

As a Civil Work Preparer, you are the pivot between the preparation and execution of small to medium-sized rail projects. You ensure that all activities, materials, people, and resources are available in a timely manner, so that projects can be executed safely, efficiently, and according to plan.

You work closely with site managers, project leaders, and other involved disciplines. Thanks to your overview and organizational skills, the preparation proceeds smoothly and projects can be successfully realized.

Within your role, you will be involved in, among other things:

• Coordinating, executing, and monitoring work preparation activities for rail projects;
• Providing schedules for personnel, equipment, materials, and tools;
• Advising project teams during the preparation phase of projects;
• Drafting and managing scripts, work documents, and execution plans;
• Monitoring the progress of activities and identifying deviations;
• Drafting work budgets, schedules, and project overviews;
• Coordinating activities with internal and external project partners;
• Contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of projects.

Your base is Zaandam. In addition to working in the office, hybrid working will be a possibility in the long term.

• A salary between € 3,380 and € 6,000 gross per month, depending on your education and experience;
• A position for 32 to 40 hours per week;

• A completed MBO education in a technical direction, for example Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering;
• Experience as a Work Preparer within a technical or project-based environment is a plus;
• A structured way of working and the ability to maintain an overview;
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with various stakeholders;
• A proactive attitude and a strong team-oriented mindset.
