Working Internship Work Preparation and Execution

For our N206 project in Leiden, we are looking for an enthusiastic student who wants to complete a working internship within both work preparation and execution. On this infrastructural project, you will contribute to the further development of an important traffic connection in the region. You will get the chance to experience the entire construction process up close: from preparation in the office to execution outside on the job. This allows you to not only develop a broad view of civil engineering projects, but also to discover how plans are actually realized.

During this internship, you will participate in both work preparation and execution. As a result, there is a wide range of different tasks that you can take on as an intern, such as:

• Drawing up and elaborating work and execution plans
• Applying for permits and ordering materials
• Support with calculations and quotes
• You will work on the construction site and support the site manager with daily activities, such as small measurement tasks, checking materials, and monitoring progress.

You want to understand the project from A to Z. You are not afraid to ask questions or to roll up your sleeves yourself.

• You are following an mbo or hbo education in the field of civil engineering.
