The role

Do you want to start a technical career where you truly make an impact on the infrastructure of the Netherlands? As an asphalt plant process operator, you will work in the very heart of production and learn step-by-step how high-quality asphalt mixtures are made.

What you'll do

In this position, you will start as a staff member within the asphalt plant, where you will get to know all facets of the production process. You will support various activities on and around the plant, from keeping the site neat and safe to assisting with maintenance and the loading and unloading of materials. This way, you will gain a complete picture of how the plant operates optimally and develop technical insight in practice.

You will work closely with logistics colleagues and operators and become involved in weighing raw materials, supervising transports, and processing production data. As a result, you will not only develop your technical skills but also learn to handle administration and digital systems within the process.

As you grow in the role, you will receive increasing responsibility regarding the production process. You will learn how asphalt mixtures are controlled and monitored, how to signal deviations, and how to collaborate with machine operators and the plant manager to ensure quality. This forms the ideal basis to grow into an operator/mixer within a few years.

You will work in a dynamic shift system (day, night, and weekend), where no two days are the same. The culture is down-to-earth, hands-on, and focused on collaboration and development. Your qualities

You are someone with technical insight or the motivation to develop this quickly. You enjoy working in an industrial environment and are not afraid to take responsibility. Because you work with production processes and systems, you feel comfortable with computers and administrative tasks. Your goal is clear: you want to learn the trade and grow into an independent operator role in which you monitor and control the process.

In addition, you have:

Technical insight or affinity with technology
You are willing to work in shift work (day, night, and weekend)
You have the ambition to grow into an operator/mixer within 2 to 3 years
You are not afraid of computers and administrative tasks
You master the Dutch language at a professional level
