Process Operator

• Mbo-3 level of work and thought, preferably in process engineering or process technology;
• Knowledge of complex production processes and operational systems;
• Experience with automation, for example MES and SCADA;
• Preferably VAPRO B or the willingness to obtain this;

• A gross monthly salary between € 3,000.- and € 3,700.- gross per month based on full-time, depending on the knowledge and experience you bring;
• 31% shift allowance in the 5-shift service;
• Travel allowance of € 0.23 per km (5 - 50 km)

Where will you be working?
Joure is the birthplace of Douwe Egberts, with a history of over 265 years. Today, two of our most important production sites are still located here: a coffee factory and a tea factory. As a Process Operator, you are responsible for the daily progress of our coffee production. From the control room, you manage the process, and through your presence on the shop floor, you maintain visibility of the installations and the operation of the machines. You monitor process parameters via systems such as MES and SCADA and intervene when you detect deviations. In doing so, you continuously take safety, quality, hygiene, and efficiency into account.

Does something go wrong in the process? Then you analyze the cause, solve technical problems yourself where possible, and contact the technical service where necessary. You ensure good coordination with your colleagues so that production can continue to run reliably and the quality of our coffee remains guaranteed. In addition to monitoring and adjusting the process, you look explicitly toward improvement. You make suggestions to prevent production problems and to set up processes more efficiently. You also participate in improvement initiatives, such as Autonomous Maintenance, and continue to develop your knowledge through relevant courses and training.

With your experience, you contribute to the coffee that comes from our production lines daily and to the further development of our factory in Joure.
