Process Engineer in the Netherlands

The role

As a Process Engineer, you are the connecting factor between the office and production. You investigate how processes can be improved, map out waste, and translate your analyses into concrete improvement actions. Your day takes place partly behind your laptop, but mainly on the shop floor. There, you observe processes, conduct time studies, and engage in dialogue with operators, team leaders, and other stakeholders. Based on your findings, you develop improvement proposals and present them to management. In this role, you will receive plenty of room to drive improvements and make an actual difference. You combine an analytical eye with a practical approach and know how to translate opportunities within the organization into concrete results. Due to your involvement with both the shop floor and management, you have a direct influence on the way of working and the performance of the organization.
