The Processing department produces various liquid semi-finished products in batches for both the liquid packaging departments and the powder tower. The processing department is the kitchen of the company where the workstations are; dosing raw materials / operating the process from the control room for both the liquid and the powder process. The activities include monitoring and controlling the production process. Following specifications and intervening and/or adjusting if necessary. Performing first-line maintenance and keeping the equipment and the workplace clean, according to the applicable regulations.

As a Process Operator Powder and Liquid Processing, you will oversee the optimal functioning of modern process equipment from a central control room, but you will also work in the field. You will come up with improvement proposals to enhance equipment performance and environmental factors. You will also perform quality controls. In addition to these tasks, you are also responsible for inventory management and coordinating preventive maintenance. Furthermore, you monitor hygiene and safety according to the applicable GMP, safety, and company regulations. You will work in a 5-shift rotation.

• At least a completed MBO level education, preferably MBO Level 3, in food technology or process technology.

• Strong affinity and knowledge of PLC and screen-controlled production systems.

• You can collaborate well with others and you communicate in an open and clear manner with your colleagues.

• You have a great sense of responsibility, attention to product quality, and a sharp eye for safety and hygiene.

• You are inventive and feel involved in the affairs within the department and Abbott Zwolle, but are also co-responsible for the result.
