Working with technology and craftsmanship? Become a Process Operator in our Cheesemaking Plant.
Imagine this: you start your shift in our cheesemaking plant. During the handover, you hear how the process is running and what happened during the previous shift. After that, you get to work at your first workstation of the day.
For the first four hours, for example, you monitor part of the production process, perform quality controls, and make adjustments where necessary. After the break, you switch workstations and take responsibility for another part of the process. This keeps your work varied, allows you to get to know the entire cheesemaking plant, and ensures you continue to develop yourself.
No two days are the same, but one thing is certain: thanks to your commitment, a perfect piece of Leerdammer cheese will soon be in the supermarket.
As a Process Operator, you are responsible for an important part of the production process. You work with modern installations, monitor quality, and ensure that the process continues to run safely and efficiently.
During your shift:
· You work safely and address colleagues when necessary;
· You operate and monitor various process installations;
· You monitor product quality by performing checks and measurements;
· You signal deviations and adjust the process where necessary;
· You independently resolve small technical disruptions;
· You coordinate with mechanics for larger malfunctions;
· You actively contribute ideas for improvements in the areas of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Because you switch workstations throughout the day, you gain a lot of insight into the entire production process. You get to know all parts of the cheesemaking plant and develop yourself into an all-round operator.
What makes this position special is the combination of technology, process control, and craftsmanship.
✅ You do not work in the same place all day
✅ You rotate between different workstations
✅ You learn the entire cheesemaking process step by step
✅ You receive a lot of responsibility and independence
✅ You work with modern and automated installations
✅ You make a direct contribution to a well-known A-brand
✅ You work in a 4-shift system with always having Sundays off
Perhaps you already have experience as a Process Operator, or perhaps not yet. What is primarily important to us is that you are curious, like to take responsibility, and have an interest in technology and processes.
We would love to teach you the finer points of the trade. Through a structured training program, you will develop yourself into a specialist within our cheesery.
"I am never standing here alone. Together with my colleagues, we make the best cheese."
