Electrical Engineering Maintenance Specialist

As an Electrical Engineering Maintenance Specialist, you are responsible for the management of electrical installations and measuring systems of our equipment, ensuring they function safely and reliably. You will work, among other things, on our electrical stop machines including the measuring systems installed on them. You will also perform maintenance and inspections on two electric locomotives. Additionally, you will occasionally come into contact with electronic components of our diesel locomotives and our electric krols (rail cranes). Your tasks include:

Management of electrical installations and tools

• Independently performing inspections;

• Assessing new installations, both high voltage and low voltage;

• Drawing electrical diagrams for existing pieces of equipment;

• Assessing changes;

• Making proposals for the adjustment of installations in response to changing use;

• Updating drawings, documentation, and manuals;

• Adjusting inspection schedules;

• Troubleshooting faults if necessary.

Management of measuring systems (primarily track geometry)

• Performing repairs and calibrations

• Maintaining records of performed calibrations

• Troubleshooting faults

• Supervising compliance with regulations regarding electrical installations, such as NEN 3140, NEN 3840, and internal company regulations

• Assisting and coordinating maintenance on electrical installations.

If necessary, we have a service car available when there is a job outside of Dordrecht.

We are looking for an electrical engineering talent who can work independently, maintain an overview, and can perform work safely and effectively together with others. You collaborate well, communicate clearly, and can convey technical information understandably to colleagues without electrical knowledge. You work accurately and are conscious of safety and quality.

Furthermore, you have:

• An MBO-4 education in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation;

• Preferably at least 3 years of experience within energy technology;

• A driving license B;
