Are you a true organizer with a heart for facility services? Do you love arranging things, maintaining an overview, and helping people? Then you will probably quickly feel at home at PCH.
As a Facilities Service Desk Employee, you are the first point of contact for facility reports, malfunctions, and requests from customers and colleagues. You ensure that buildings, workplaces, and facility amenities continue to function well. Whether it concerns a malfunction, a request for materials, calling in a supplier, or a minor disruption in a building: you ensure it gets arranged.
You are the pivot between customers, suppliers, and colleagues. From the office, you maintain the overview, set priorities, and ensure that facility reports are handled quickly and carefully. But you are not just sitting behind a desk. You are also regularly visible in the building or on the site to assess the situation, coordinate with colleagues and suppliers, and monitor the progress of activities. It is precisely the combination of organizing, coordinating, customer contact, and being present on location that makes this function varied, practical, and versatile. No two days are the same. Experience in facility management is a plus, but certainly not a requirement. More important to us is that you are service-oriented, love to organize, maintain an overview, and get energy from contact with people.
As a Facilities Service Desk Employee, you will be involved in, among other things:
You receive facility reports, malfunctions, and requests via telephone, email, and our FMIS.
You ensure a quick and correct handling of reports and monitor progress.
You coordinate activities regarding buildings, workplaces, and facility amenities.
You organize materials, orders, and facility services.
You resolve small facility disruptions or ensure the correct supplier is called in.
You receive and guide suppliers on location.
You maintain an overview of outstanding reports and monitor made agreements and service standards.
You determine which reports you handle yourself and which you forward to colleagues or specialized partners.
You think along about improvements within our facility services.
You support facility projects and get the opportunity to take on additional coordinating activities.
You work from Dordrecht for our locations in the Southwest region. Additionally, from Dordrecht, you support the Service Bureau in Apeldoorn for an average of 16 hours per week. Here, you participate in first-line facility services, support colleagues with more complex issues, and take on tasks independently. You have a lot of contact with colleagues in Apeldoorn and are occasionally present there for consultations or team days. You will join an informal and involved team where collaboration, fun, and helping each other are central. We think along with our customers, always look for practical solutions, and want to make our facility services a little better every day.
No workday is the same. One morning you might take in facility reports and schedule a supplier for a malfunction. After that, you walk a round through the building or across the site to view a situation, coordinate with colleagues or suppliers, and check whether activities are being carried out as agreed. In between, you arrange materials, update the planning, and monitor the progress of outstanding reports. So, you are not just busy behind a desk. You are constantly switching between administration, coordination, customer contact, and presence on location. It is precisely that variety that makes this function challenging and fun.
You don't need to be able to do everything already. Motivation and personality are more important to us than experience.
You are someone who:
love to organize and maintain an overview;
get energy from facility services;
are customer-friendly and service-oriented;
communicate easily with customers, colleagues, and suppliers;
work accurately and maintain an overview;
remain calm when it is busy;
think practically and in a solution-oriented manner;
can switch quickly between different activities;
are handy with computers and new systems;
work independently AND enjoy working together.
Additionally:
you have at least mbo 4 work and thinking level;
you have a good command of the Dutch language, both orally and in writing;
you are available from Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 18:00.
Do you have experience in facility management, hospitality, customer service, planning, administration, real estate, retail, or catering? Then this function probably suits you well. Do you not yet have facility experience, but the world of facility services appeals to you? Even then, we would like to meet you.
You will work for a versatile integrated service provider within the facility real estate and parking market. For clients throughout the country. Our people are the face of PCH. Service providers who go that extra mile. With attention. With craftsmanship. And with a smile. Because we find a fifth impression at least as important as the first. And we believe sincerely in engaged and personal service.
As an employer, we also truly pay attention to you. That might sound logical, but with us, it is not just something we say. We are curious about who you are, what you are good at, and where you want to grow. We continue to engage in conversation with you. We know each other. And we do it together.
Your DNA matches ours. You are someone who takes responsibility, is open to feedback, and likes to be in motion. Someone who dares to learn and to do. Your ideas are welcome and initiative is appreciated. The match does not stop at PCH. You are at least as good a match with our client. Because that is where it happens. In the client's building. Where our work matters. Under the eye of the end user. That is where you make the difference and you are, every single day, the visiting card of PCH.
Do we match and have you become enthusiastic? Great! Then don't wait any longer and apply!
