You translate figures into choices that make the difference. Together with the tender team, you determine the smartest approach, sharpen your opportunities, and build a submission that is both convincing and feasible.

Your job
As an estimator, you work closely with tender teams from the central office. You bring costs, risks, and opportunities into clear view and help determine the strategy with which KWS submits a distinctive bid.

What will you be doing?

• You perform calculations for diverse works: from straightforward projects to complex tenders;

• You work within (compact) tender teams and together create the winning submission;

• You analyze the request for tender, identify risks and opportunities, and translate these into sharp choices in price, approach, and feasibility;

• Together with procurement, execution, work preparation, and partners, you seek the winning balance between quality, planning, sustainability, and costs;

• You request quotes, compare alternatives, and challenge the team to choose the best tender strategy;

• You actively bring sustainable, innovative, and practical opportunities to the tender team;

• You work with subcontractors and suppliers on sharp, realistic, and distinctive offers;

• You clearly communicate your insights to work preparation and execution, so that the chosen strategy also works outside the tender phase;

• You visit project locations, gather information, and connect your calculations to practice;

• You think along creatively about solutions for phasing, planning, and ideas for plans of approach.

You have a higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking and preferably a background in Civil Engineering. Knowledge of the RAW system, UAV(-GC), and EMVI is a plus. Above all, you bring numerical insight, collaboration, and strategic thinking together to create the best offer with the tender team. We are naturally looking for an experienced multi-tasker, but someone who is not afraid to develop into an experienced multi-tasker is also welcome. • A hybrid position for 32 to 40 hours per week;

• A full-time salary between € 4,895.- and € 6,551.- gross per 4 weeks, paid in 13 periods;
