To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Calculator / Work Preparer E and W who gets energy from both the technical elaboration and the financial preparation of our projects. In this versatile role, you are involved from the calculation phase and remain an important link between design, preparation, and execution throughout the project.

You combine technical insight with a practical and accurate way of working. You make calculations, think along about technical solutions, prepare activities, and ensure that technicians and project teams can get to work with the right information. You work on diverse projects within commercial building, residential building, and sustainability, switching between electrotechnical and mechanical installations. The DNA of Keizers: One goal. As a Calculator / Work Preparer E and W, you are involved in the preparation and execution of our projects. You start by assessing requests and technical documentation and translate these into a complete calculation. After the order is placed, you ensure that the project is well-prepared technically and organizationally. With your combination of calculation knowledge, technical insight, and organizational skills, you ensure that projects start well-prepared and continue to run smoothly during execution.

You are therefore an important connecting factor between project management, engineering, suppliers, technicians, and other involved parties. You maintain an overview, signal bottlenecks, and ensure that work can be carried out on time and with the correct materials and information.

Furthermore, you will be involved in:

• Making cost price calculations for electrotechnical and mechanical installations;

• Analyzing drawings, specifications, budgets, and other project documentation;

• Requesting, assessing, and comparing quotes from suppliers and subcontractors;

• Determining material, labor, and other project costs;

• The preparation and technical elaboration of projects;

• Ordering and making materials and necessary resources available in a timely manner;

• Creating and checking work and execution drawings;

• Monitoring delivery times and coordinating material flows;

• Maintaining contact with suppliers, subcontractors, and colleagues;

• Signaling and solving technical and organizational bottlenecks;

• Supporting the project manager during execution;

• Ensuring a good handover from the calculation to the work preparation and execution;

• Thinking along about alternative technical solutions and possibilities to execute projects more efficiently;

• Monitoring and processing extra and reduced work where necessary.
