Civil Estimator

• An MBO or HBO diploma in Civil Engineering or an equivalent education.
• Good command of the Dutch language.
• At least 4 years of work experience as an estimator or cost expert at a (medium) large contractor.
• You have sound relevant knowledge of contract management, risk management, and systems engineering.

• A 4-weekly payment of € 4049 up to € 6586 for a full-time employment (40 hours). You receive no less than 13 payments per year.

As an estimator, you are a technical sparring partner within tenders and projects. You work in the heart of our organization. You are involved in complex and socially relevant infrastructural works, such as the construction and maintenance of bridges, tunnels, viaducts, and aqueducts. As a Civil Estimator, you are co-responsible for preparing reliable and sharp cost calculations for tenders and projects. You actively think along about feasibility, risks, and optimizations, thereby making a crucial contribution to the success of our projects.

• Prepares cost calculations based on specifications, contract, and tender documents.
• Requests, analyzes, and assesses quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Determines the final cost price together with the project and tender team.
• Thinks along about approach, phasing, and technical solutions.
• Shares your knowledge and contributes to the further professionalization of the field.
• You work closely with colleagues from various disciplines within Boskalis Netherlands and are given the space to apply your knowledge and experience, take responsibility, and further develop yourself.
