The role

As a Cost Estimator, you are responsible for preparing, analyzing, and justifying cost calculations for new products and changes (Engineering Changes - ECs).

• Preparing cost calculations for NPI projects, quotes, and ECs;
• Analyzing drawings, bills of materials, routings, and specifications;
• Assessing mechanical and mechatronic assemblies;
• Building up cost prices (material, processing, hours, purchasing, logistics, and risks);
• Coordinating with Engineering, Purchasing, NPL, and Project Management;
• Preparing shadow calculations for cost-down trajectories;
• Actively participating in cost and price discussions with suppliers and customers;
• Supporting Sales during commercial processes;
• Justifying and presenting cost prices to internal and external stakeholders;
• Contributing to cost control and cost reduction.
