What we're looking for

You are nearly finished with your studies in ICT and/or Software and you have knowledge of SQL and C#.Net or comparable programming languages.

Nice to have

You are enthusiastic and have a passion for technology. You enjoy acting between the technology and the functional application of software (the business). You find logistics and smart algorithms interesting.
You work independently on your assignment at our location in Veghel

The role

From the Logistics & Automation Veghel business unit, we provide solutions for smarter logistics. Solutions vary from sort to light, paperless order picking, an intelligent control layer above equipment, to full WMS/WCS implementations. Sometimes with and sometimes without equipment. In this, we deploy our own product Actemium WMS/WCS.

When designing a solution, order characteristics always play an important role. We often use (or the customer uses) Excel or SQL to perform analyses such as:

Customers often provide order (line) data in Excel, which we then process further. With the arrival of AI, we are building all kinds of sandbox environments to experiment with customer data and to visualize and simulate a number of scenarios.

Number of man-hours per sub-process
Distribution of the number of lines (or pieces) per order
And other specific cross-sections
