You have an Mbo or Hbo diploma in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Process Technology, or a similar field.
You have at least 3 years of experience in industrial automation.
PLC programming (Siemens, experience with Allen Bradley is a plus)
You master systems such as WinCC, GEA Omni and have experience reading P&ID diagrams and electrical schematics.
Good command of Dutch and English.
VCA VOL certificate and knowledge of NEN 3140 is a plus.

As an Electrical & Automation Engineer at GEA, you are the brain behind our automated systems. You develop software for industrial installations, optimize existing processes, and implement innovative solutions to improve performance and achieve energy savings. The service projects department manages short-term projects throughout the country and Belgium, ensuring plenty of variety.
Programming PLCs (such as Siemens S5/S7/TIA Portal, Allen Bradley is a plus) and developing HMI/SCADA systems (WinCC, GEA Omni).
Designing and implementing automation systems for cooling/freezing installations and heat pumps.
Performing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
Replacing control hardware and software to make systems more efficient and sustainable.
Installing and configuring modules so that systems can be managed remotely.
Commissioning installations on-site, together with experienced colleagues.
Advising and supporting colleagues and customers on the use of systems.
Analytical ability and a problem-solving mindset.
Flexible and innovative in devising technical solutions.
Result-oriented and independent, but also functions excellently within a team.
Customer- and service-oriented attitude.
Preferably knowledge of industrial refrigeration technology
Team player.
