The role

During this internship, you will support the HR Backoffice with daily activities. For example:

What you'll do

  • Processing personnel changes and supporting the inflow, movement, and outflow of employees
  • Managing and checking personnel files
  • Performing salary checks for payroll administration and learning how a payslip is constructed
  • Processing leave, such as supplementary leave and parental leave, and supporting UWV applications
  • Reporting monthly HR figures, such as inflow, outflow, and average age
  • Answering HR questions and thinking along about improvements and HR projects

You will join a dedicated HR team in Capelle aan den IJssel, where you will contribute to the HR services for the Axians perimeter. Within this perimeter, you will work for multiple Business Units and work intensively with colleagues from HR, Finance, Fleet, Facility, and the Service Desk. Due to the short lines of communication, you can easily brainstorm with one another and respond quickly to relevant matters. This way, you will see how we support various organizational departments from the back office and contribute to optimal knowledge sharing within the network.
